Map produced as part of a training exercise to climb Nkanta Peak.
Covers an area extending from the north-western shore of Lake Nyasa approximately 50 miles westwards into the eastern portion of the Nyika Plateau to, and approximately 5 miles across, the border with Northern Rhodesia. Portrays hydrology, relief by form lines and spot heights, roads and tracks, settlements, international boundaries and place names. Manuscript additions and corrections have been added to base map T.S.G.S. No. 1479, Sheet 105-K (Provisional), dated 1904.
