Traverse covering a 280-mile route from Malka Sala on the southern Abyssinia border south-westwards to Eil Wak and then northwards to Banissa to a width of approximately 4 miles. Portrays hydrology, relief by form lines, roads and tracks, settlements, wells, place names and survey sight lines, and includes topographical notes. The traverse does not form part of the boundary survey but represents a supplementary expedition to meet a tribal headman.
