Compilation of the plane table surveys produced at ABY/27/1/2 and ABY/27/1/3 depicting the routes taken from Murle and Maji respectively by the Anglo-Abyssinian Boundary Commission on return from the southern Abyssinia boundary to Addis Abbaba . (Note: Murle is just outside the southern limit of the sheet.) The compilation also depicts part of the route taken by Major Gwynn on his 1901 expedition from Addis Abbaba to Jebel Fazokli (filed at ABY/6). Portrays hydrology, relief by form lines and spot heights, roads and tracks, telegraphs, settlements, place names and the expedition routes.
The sheet bears a compilation note, including a description of the contributions of Major C.W. Gwynn R.E., Captain P. Maud R.E. and Corporal C. Carter R.E.
