This item consists of copies of correspondence, consultations, resolutions, and minutes cited in, or enclosed with, political letters from the Government of Bombay [Mumbai]. The main correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; Captain Samuel Hennell, Resident in the Persian Gulf; Lieutenant Arnold Burrows Kemball, Assistant Resident in the Persian Gulf. It is the fourth in a series of seven items on affairs of the Persian Gulf (the others are IOR/F/4/2077/95829, IOR/F/4/2077/95830, IOR/F/4/2077/95831, IOR/F/4/2077/95833, IOR/F/4/2077/95834, and IOR/F/4/2077/95835).
