Enclosure No. 3 to Despatch No. 23 from the Secret Department, Bombay Castle, dated 7 June 1860. The Enclosure is dated 11 April 1860. Received 12 July 1860.
The Enclosure contains a despatch from James McAdam Hyslop, Officiating Political Agent in Turkish Arabia, to HBM's Ambassador at Constantinople. The despatch covers: appointment of subordinate governors; detention of boats on the Tigris; the reinstatement of the Shaikh of Mohammerah [Khorramshahr]; the supply of coals for Ottoman steamers; telegraphic communications; and miscellaneous news.
