• Visits of British ships to the Guttur [Qatar] Coast and El Adeed [Khawr al ‘Udayd]
• British surveys of the harbour of El Biddah and the shoals outside
• The movements of Ameer Fysul [Amīr Fayṣal bin Turkī bin ‘Abdullāh Āl Sa‘ūd, ruler of the Second Saudi State].
