This item consists of copies of correspondence, minutes, and consultations cited in, or enclosed with, political letters from the Government of Bombay. The correspondents are the Government of Bombay and Lieutenant-Colonel Samuel Hennell, Political Resident in the Persian Gulf. It is the third in a series of five items.
The item concerns a return of presents to the Imam of Muscat [Sayyid Sa‘īd bin Sulṭān Āl Bū Sa‘īd], as he and his son have previously given presents to the members of the Residency in the Persian Gulf.
