This item consists of copies of correspondence, minutes, and consultations cited in, or enclosed with, political letters from the Government of Bombay. The correspondents are: the Government of Bombay; Captain Arnold Burrowes Kemball, Political Resident in the Persian Gulf; and Hajee Jassem [Ḥājjī Jāsim], British Agent at Bahrein [Bahrain]. It is the first in a series of three items about the Persian Gulf.
