This item contains copies of three letters:
1. Two letters from Harford Jones, Resident in Bagdad [Baghdad], to Marquess Wellesley, Governor-General of Bengal, sent from Bagdad and dated 26 March 1800. Jones forwards various correspondence and reports that he has transmitted to India news of peace between France and Austria.
2. A letter from Harford Jones to Jonathan Duncan, Governor of Bombay, sent from Bagdad and dated 26 March 1801, forwarding various correspondence.
