An extract of an anonymous letter from Shiraz to Jonathan Henry Lovett, Resident in Bushire [Bushehr], dated 28 April 1803.
The letter discusses the delay in summoning Lovett to the Court of Persia [Iran], noting that the death of Hajee Khulleel Khan [Ḥājī Muḥammad Khalīl Khān Qazvīnī, Persian Ambassador to India] has created unfavourable attitudes towards Britain at Court.
