A photograph of Violeta Hristova during a yearly trip to Rila Monastery on occasion of the Day of Holy Mary on August 15 before Evangelization. She was 15-16 years old. The visit of the Rila or Bachkovo monasteries on the Day of Holy Mary was a tradition in Roma Orthodox and Muslim groups in Samokov before religious conversion to Evangelical Christianity during 1980s.

Condition of original material: Bad physical condition of the photograph; the lower right corner is torn; medium quality.
Custodial history: The photograph was created in the 1970s and was owned by Violeta Hristova's family.
