The photo was published in the Protestant newspaper ‘Zornitsa’, 31 May 1933. The attached note in Bulgarian under the photograph is following: ‘Млади цигански под ръководството на г-жа А. Минкова се учат да шият и плетат. Зор. 31.V. 1933’; Transliteration: ‘Mladi tsiganki pod rŭkovodstvoto na g-zha A. Minkova se uchat da shiyat i pletat. Zor. 31.V. 1933’; Translation: ‘Young Gypsy women learn to sew and knit under the guidance of Mrs. A. Minkova. Zornitsa. 31 May 1933’.
