Map produced as part of a reconnaissance survey of south-east Bakhtiari [Bakhtiyārī] country. Surveyed by Assistant Surveyor Imam Sharif, Khan Bahadur [Imām Sharīf, Khān Bahādur], Survey of India Department; superintended and assisted by Lieutenant William Daniel McSwiney, 7th Dragoon Guards.
The map shows Dizful [Dezful], Shustar [Shushtar], and the surrounding region. The map depicts hydrology and provides some indication of relief. Red lines denote separate routes leading to and from Dizful and Shustar respectively.
Scale given as follows: ‘1 Inch = 8 Miles’.
