- Scope & Content:

In southern Kurdistan the roads from Kifri to Sulaimaniah [As Sulaymaniyah], from there to Rawanduz [Ruwandiz], and Rawanduz to Amadiyeh [Al ‘Amadiyah], were gone over in Turkey, and Suj-Bulak [Mahabad] to Karmanshah [Kermanshah] through Sakiz [Saqqez] and Sihna [Sanandaj] in Persia. The country south of lake Van to Mosul was traversed in the routes Amadiyeh to Mosul, Mosul to Jazirah [Al Jazirah], Jazirah to Bashkala [Başkale], Bashkala to Urmia, and Urmia to Suj Bulak through Ushnu [Oshnaviyeh].’
