The map is in primarily black ink with indications of topography and mountains given by hachures. Kurdish tribal areas are shown in red ink: tribal areas shown in red ink include Shuan [Shuwān], Hamawand [Hamāwand], [Kaki Kākā’ī], Talebani [Ṭālibānī], Shaikh Bizani [Shaikh Bizīnī].
Settlements shown include Kirkuk, Sulaimaniyah, and Chemchemal [Chamchamal].
At the bottom is the following attribution to a survey party of the Mespotamia Expeditionary Force.
