The map is in primarily black ik with indications of topography and mountains including Jebel Hamrin given by hachures. Kurdish tribal areas are shown in red ink: tribal areas shown in red ink include Zangana, Jaf, Bajlan [Bājlān].
Settlements shown include Khaniqin [Khanaqin] (ethnic communities listed are 'Kurd, Jew, Turk, Arab') and Kizil Rubat [Jabal Qizil Rabat].
At the bottom is the following attribution including a survey party of Mesopotamia Expeditionary Force:
