Questions on metaphysical topics posed by Abū al-Ḥasan Bahmanyār ibn al-Marzubān (أبو الحسن بهمنيار بن المرزبان, d. 1066) and answered by his teacher Abū ʻAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʻAbd Allāh (أبو علي الحسين بن عبد الله), known as Ibn Sīnā (ابن سينا, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037). The manuscript gives the title of this work as Bahmanyār's Validations (تحصيلات بهمنيار, f. 201r), but the text preserved here is extracted from the Discussions (المباحثات, see al-Mubāḥathāt, ed. Bīdārfar, pp. 85-304).
