Annual administration report of the Bombay Presidency,providing a summary record of the main events and developments in eachdepartment of the Government of Bombay during the financial year 1927-28. The report was printed at the Government Central Press,Bombay [Mumbai], in 1929.

The report begins with ‘PART I GENERAL SUMMARY’(ff 8-20), and ‘PART II’ is then divided into the following chapters, most ofwhich are further divided into sub-headings:

A table of contents listing the parts, chapters andsub-headings of the report is on folios 5-6. In a small number of instancesthere are discrepancies in the phrasing or inclusion of sub-headings betweenthe table of contents and the body of the report. In these cases thesub-heading as it appears in the body of the report is included above.

The volume includes appendices (ff 158-160) anda subject index (ff 161-163) with reference to the original pagination.
