This part of the volume consists of copies of enclosures to a despatch from the Government of Bombay Secret Department to the Secret Committee, Number 66 of 1840, dated 25 August 1840.
The enclosures are dated 25 July-25 August 1840 and consist of correspondence relating to the improvement of the fortifications at Aden.
The correspondents include: the Political Agent at Aden and the Military Board, Bombay.
