Annual administration report of the Aden Settlement, providing a summary record of the main events and developments in each department of the Administration of Aden during the financial year 1892-93.

The main body of the report is headed 'PART II'. The first part is not present. Part II of the report is divided into the following sections, some of which are further divided into sub-headings:

• 'V.–REVENUE AND FINANCE' (ff 37-42), consisting of: Imperial Revenue and Finance; Revenue and Finance other than Imperial
• 'VI.–VITAL STATISTICS AND MEDICAL SERVICES' (ff 42-45), consisting of: Births and Deaths; Medical Relief
• 'VII.–INSTRUCTION' (ff 45-46), consisting of: General Remarks; Education; Literature and Press.

The report includes appendices (ff 46-47) and a 'STATEMENT' (ff 48-51), the latter consisting of reports and statistics on weather, health, and sanitation.

An index listing the headings and sub-headings of the report is on folios 4-6. In a small number of instances there are discrepancies in the spelling or phrasing of sub-headings between the index and the body of the report. In these cases the sub-heading as it appears in the body of the report is included above.
