This part of the volume consists of an abstract of contents of a despatch from the Government of Bombay, Secret Department, to the Secret Committee, Number 22 of 1850, dated 15 April 1850. There are three items listed but only number 2, the abstract of contents, is included. Enclosure number 3, listed as a letter from Lieutenant-Colonel Justin Sheil, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at the Court of Persia [Iran], dated 7 February 1850, is recorded as missing in a note of 31 October 1906.
