The map sheet is one of seven maps included in IOR/L/PS/20/C126/1.
It shows the route taken by Xerxes I, ruler of the Achaemenid Empire, during his invasion of Greece in 480 BC. It includes western and central Turkey, the islands of the Aegean Sea, and the eastern coast of Greece.
Portrays rivers, lakes, relief by hachures, key settlements, and other historical landmarks, and contains an inset of the island of Samos and the Mycale Strait.
