The album contains 3 newspaper clippings. The top clipping is with the description "Group Photograph Taken in connection with the Benefit Dramatic Performance by the Convicts of the Central Jail, Coimbatore(Under the patronage of H.E. The governor of Madras on 13th Oct 1931)". The next clipping is with the description "Madras Eastern Club Annual Day: Sir Mohamed Usman, presided over the annual day celebrations of the Madras Eastern Club, last evening, at the presidency college cricket Pavillion, Triplicane. T..Members were 'At home' to their Patrons Nawab C. Abdul Hakim and Sir P. T. Rajan on the above occasion". The last clipping at the bottom is with the description "Capitulations Conference: In the presence of delegates of the 12 capitulatory Powers of Egypt, M. Motta, President of the Swiss Republic declared the capitulations Conference open in the Palace Hotel, Montreaux, Switzerland, Mustapha Nahas Pasha, the Egyptian Prime Minister, tabled a draft convention between Egypt and the Capitulatory powers abolishing the capitulations by which certain states enjoy special legal Privileges in Egypt. Above are seen Nahas pasha and M. Motta, President of the Swiss Republic, with other members of teh Egyptian delegation".
