The map is divided by red lines into the areas covered in the different volumes of the Military Report on Mesopotamia (catalogued as IOR/L/PS/20/C202/1-5), numbered 1 to 10. Major towns and hyrdrology are indicated in black.
The map was heliozincographed by the Survey Directorate, Baghdad, and is marked ‘Reg. No. 1045.’
