The map sheet is one of five maps included in IOR/L/PS/20/C104/1, published in ‘Seistan [Sistan]. A Memoir on the History, Topography, Ruins and People of the Country. In four parts. Parts I to III’, (Calcutta [Kolkata]: Superintendent Government Printing, India, 1910) by George Passman Tate. The volume is based on information collected during the Seistan Boundary Commission of 1903-05.
The maps shows a plan of the ruins of Bina-i-Kai (Nad Ali) [Nad-e Ali]. It shows hydrology, relief by hachures, vegetation, terrain characteristics, tracks, settlements (current and ruined) and place names. Significant historical features are marked and keyed to a reference.
