The map sheet is one of seven maps included in IOR/L/PS/20/C126/2.
It shows Persia [Iran] and Afghanistan in detail, as well as the bordering areas of the British Raj [British India], Russian Turkistan [Turkestan], Chinese Turkistan, Caucasia, and the Turkish [Ottoman] Empire.
It portrays hydrology, internal and international place names and boundaries, railways, roads, telegraphs, and settlements. Relief is indicated by spot heights, layer tinting, and hill shading.
Produced by the Geographical Section, General Staff in 1912, with additions made in 1918 and railways revised in 1920.
