This map is one of fourteen map sheets included in IOR/L/PS/20/C234.
It shows the area surrounding the village of Deh Shaikh, which was the site of a military confrontation on 25 May 1918 between British Indian troops and a force of Qashqai [Qashqāy] fighters led by Saulat Ud-Daula [Ṣawlat al-Dawlah].
It portrays hydrology, roads, and settlements. Relief is shown by spot heights and form lines.
The map was prepared in the Historical Section of the Committee of Imperial Defence. Imprint ‘Ordnance Survey 1929.’
