Construction of the 60-inch building, viewed most likely from the north. The walls and roof trusses of the turret are in place. The cradle of the telescope tube is being moved into the turret. A man stands on top of the cradle. Inside the turret the upper section of the telescope tube, partially encased in planks of wood, can be seen. In the foreground is a large packing crate and a three-legged crane. Several people are shown. PLB32_0005, PLB36_0007 and PLB36_0012 are related. PLB36_0012 and PB13_0008 are derivatives.
