Construction of the 60-inch building, seen from the north-west. The walls and roof trusses of the turret are in place. The south pier can be seen inside the building. The curtain wall of the entrance is partially complete. An American flag flies from a pole, held by an individual, on the roof. Several other people can be seen, standing on the roof trusses. A large machine, with metal wheels, is in the foreground. Hand-written label: "Boyden Station of Harvard Obsy. - South Africa / 60[inch] turret / (1931 Nov. 29)". White dot glued on in a corner. PLB35_0004, LSB04_0021, and PLB32_0015 are derivatives.
