The 24-inch Bruce Telescope, seen from the north-west from inside the enclosure. The lower half of the tube, the polar axis and cross head, and part of the declination axis counterweight are seen. The arrangement of smaller counterweights at the rear of the tube are well shown, and the plate holder is visible. Note the peeling paint on the section of the tube where it connects with the declination axis.
