The 10-inch Metcalf Triplet, seen facing east-southeast. The roof is rolled open, and the door in the western wall is also open. The south pier of the mounting can be seen. The three telescopes (and mounting) have a dark colour. The first plate with this instrument was taken 1927 September. Three roof support pillars of the 13-inch Refractor building are visible on the left, and one of the 3-inch Ross-Fecker building can be seen. In the midground are two roughly circular circles of rocks. At the extreme left edge of the image, the paved pathway of the Administrative Building is visible. Date from lantern slide. PLB35_0028 and PLB35_0037 are derivatives.
