Despatch from the Foreign Department, Government of India, to theSecretary of State for India, No. 289 of 1869, dated 9 September 1869,containing enclosures dated 3-23 August 1869.
The enclosures consist of copies of correspondence relatingto discussions over whether the movement of troops bysea from Muscat to other Omani ports should be considered a breach of theMaritime Truce [General Treaty with the Arab Tribes of the Persian Gulf].
The correspondents are the Government of Bombay andthe Government of India.
