- Despatch from the Foreign Department, Governmentof India, to the Secretary of State for India, No. 374 of 1869, dated 30November 1869, containing a copy of a letter from the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf dated 22 November1869. The letter reports that a group of Persian [Iranian] soldiers attackedand wounded a group of crew members from HMS Dalhousie while they were onshoreat Bushire [Bushehr], and that the soldiers have been punished and apologieshave been received from the Governor of Bushire and the commander of thegarrison.
