Despatch from the Foreign Department, Government of India, to theSecretary of State for India, No. 383 of 1869, dated 7 December 1869,containing enclosures dated 2 August-26 November 1869.
The enclosures consist of copies of correspondence relatingto the settlement of claims from two British subjects for financial lossessustained during an attack on Guttur [Qatar] the previous year by the rulers ofBahrein [Bahrain] and Aboothabee [Abu Dhabi].
The correspondents are the Political Resident inthe Persian Gulf, the Government of Bombay and the Government of India.
