This map depicts the contested frontier between Yemen and the Aden Protectorate, subject of the Aden Boundary Commission between the Turkish [Ottoman] authorities in Yemen and the Government of India. This map depicts the boundary that the British Government intends to claim in the negotiations, and was produced from the results of a British survey of the disputed area undertaken in 1902. The map details topographic features, with contour lines indicating elevation, and shows peaks, wadis, and settlements. Tribal territory is also demarcated.
