A fowler stands under a tree watching pigeons fly away with his net. From the story of the ring-dove that persuaded the pigeons to act together and carry away the net that had trapped them (Eastwick (1854), chapter III, story I, 250; I.O.R. Pers.Ms 1403, f.102r-102v).
