Map of the terrain, rivers, roads, towns and villages of the Zohab province of Persia. The map indicates with dashed lines in three different colours (identified by a key below the title) the boundary lines between Ottoman Turkey and Persia, as claimed by Persian Commissioners (green) and Ottoman Commissioners (blue), and proposed by the Mediating Commissioners (red).
A note in the top-left corner of the map: ‘(In Colonel Sheil’s No. 21, Feb. 23, 1852)’ refers to original correspondence from Colonel Justin Sheil, who occupied the post of Minister Plenipotentiary and Envoy Extraordinary at the Court of Persia between 1844 and 1854.
