This black and white photograph shows most of the steam ship Patrick Stewart (the stern is not in the frame) on the sea. Three small vessels are visible near the ship on the right-hand side of the image.

The photograph is partially stuck to an envelope, on which is written in pencil: ‘Photograph of S.S. “Patrick Stewart”’.
