Sketch of the creek leading to Gahrah [Gharo, also spelled Gharra in this item], as surveyed by Lieutenant J S Grieve, IN [Indian Navy]. Represented on a ‘Scale of 1 inch to the miles of 2040 yards’ (the scale is stated and also drawn on).
The sketch commences at ‘Munharo [Manora] Point’ (western side) and ends at the village of Gharra (eastern side). Heavy breakers, sand banks, mangrove swamps and islands are indicated, in addition to villages, sand hills, buildings and historical forts on land.
The original was signed and drawn by W C Harris Captain, Field Engineer, Sinde [Sindh] Reserve Force.
