Copy of a sketch map entitled: ‘Sketch showing supposed movements of the enemy of English Army seizing Mohumrah preparatory [sic] to ascending the Karun’. It includes a key to troop positions and progress and covers Bushire [Bushehr], Borazgaon [Borajzan], Kazarown [Kazerun], Bebehan [Behbahan] and Shuster [Shushtar].
The map is undated but is likely to have been drawn in January 1857.
The original sketch map was signed by J A Ballard, Lieutenant, Superintendent Intelligence Department. The copy was made by Andrew [illegible].
