Rough sketch map indicating the distance and location of various water sources in the district of Bushire [Bushehr], including: wells; creeks and bays; and a marshy plain subject to flooding at high water spring tides. Also indicated are the table land of Bushire and the village of Hullillah [Halileh].
The creator of the map is not stated.
The map is contained in a letter dated 22 March 1854 by Captain Arnold Burrowes Kemball, then Political Resident in the Persian Gulf, to the Governor of Bombay, describing the defences of the town of Bushire and the neighbouring country.
