Rowe COLLECTIONS, Vol. XI (For Vols. I-X see Add. MSS. 39912- 39921.) Tracings of encaustic tiles, collected at various dates in the 19th century, and with a title-page dated 1881, by the Rev. George Rowe (d. 1882), Principal of the Training College, York, and one of the Hon. Secretaries of the Yorkshire Architectural Society. At the end (ff. 223-224) is an index of places. Many of the tracings bear initials other than those of Rowe himself, presumably those of the persons who supplied them....
