The 1st Duke of Marlborough was Master of the Robes and (after 1684) Gentleman of the Bedchamber to James II, but it is not clear whether the books came into the archive as a result of this connection; 75388 has a pencilled (ownership?) inscription 'Robert Murray, April 13, 1892'. Paper and vellum. Four volumes. Uniform binding of red calf, gilt-stamped. 365 x 240 mm.
