The following Nos., 37168-37174, form the manuscript part of a collection of MSS. and Printed Books relating to the Romany language and people, written or collected by Charles Godfrey Leland (d. 1903). Presented by his niece, Mrs. Joseph Pennell, with the condition that they shall be reserved from public use for twenty-five years. The printed books, to which no such condition attaches, are kept together in the Department of Printed Books.
