- Papyrus fragment, darker by patches, rubbed in places; an additional small fragment of the same papyrus is in Basel (P.Bas. inv. 42). Writing is on both sides: the front bears the right-hand portion of 25 lines, with signs in the lower margin. Upper, lower and right margins are extant and minimal. The fragment in Basel preserves the beginnings of 12 lines and the right margin; 40-44 letters were lost between the fragments. Vertical folds are visible; on the back, traces of five lines against the fibres, written upside down and in mirror script, were transferred from another document; a sheet-join is visible at c. 45 mm from the right edge. Part of the endorsement is preserved on the back of the fragment in Basel. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
