Scope & Content:
Application addressed to Marcus Antonius Pallas from Menodorus alias Ammonius, Eudaemon, Hermaeus, and his brother Metocus, Dius and Didymus, of Hermopolis, who wish to lease some land for a period of two years. Details on the payment of the rent are provided. The dating clause is at the end.

Papyrus sheet, complete, but damaged by holes and abrasion in places; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are 15 lines; the margins survive, with no margin having been left to the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Upper portion of a papyrus sheet, badly mutilated on the left-hand side; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are portions of 14 lines, lacking the beginnings. The upper margin partly survives, side margins are minimal, with the left being badly mutilated. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Fragment of a mid-dark brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the top, bottom and left; a small piece of papyrus was glued onto the surface; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There is one column, with portions of 17 lines, all lacking the beginnings; of the last 4 lines, only the ends are preserved. The right margin is generous and measures 50 mm; no other margin survives. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom along the right edge. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Light-brown papyrus sheet, of paler colour in places, with few holes and breaks; the back displays surface damage, with lack of vertical fibres; written on both sides. On the front, there is one column written along the fibres, with traces of a preceding column; the back has three columns written across the fibres, with the first being mutilated. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Papyrus sheet, complete, but with holes and surface damage; writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. There are 15 lines, abraded in places and written in the centre of the sheet. Margins are extant, with the upper and lower being wide, and measuring 90 mm and 45 mm respectively. No margin was left to the right. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass fame.

A letter, presumably from Aline to her husband Apollonius, alluding to the completion of some woodwork in a small house and to the administration of the office by the recipient himself, in the absence of Posidonius.

Upper part of a papyrus sheet, written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The top of two columns survive, with at least another column missing; the intercolumnar space is 2 mm. The upper and right margins are extant, the top measuring 15 mm and the right being minimal; the left and lower margins are not preserved. The surface is abdraded in places and damaged by holes throughout. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Undertaking to pay 120 drachmas in the months of Pauni and Epeiph to Areius, an oil manufacturer, for the value of the fodder produced from the land. Written by Hermeinus, son of Areius. The receipt acknowledging the payment of earnest money follows.
