The sheets cover a route proceeding south through Chihli (直隸) Province from Paoting (保定) by way of Chengting (正定) to Hantan (邯鄲), to Weihwei, Honan (衛輝, 河南), then west through Honan to Lingpao (靈寶) above the Sanmen Rapids (三門峽) on the Hwang Ho (黃河), crossing the river at Tungkwan (潼關) passing th...
Done from the respective sheets at CHI/93/1/1. Place-names are not given, with the exception of sheet 8 which covers the crossings of the Hwang Ho (黃河) and bears a list of place names between Lingpao, Honan (靈寶, 河南) and Tungchow, Shensi (同州, 陕西)
Numbered place-names are listed in Chinese characters and Wade-Giles romanisation. A second set of folios covers the same list, but without romanisation.
