Scope & Content:
Fragment of a letter; the names of the correspondents are lost. The sender will visit the recipient, who, until then, should take care of himself; the author also asks him to write about anything he may want.

Dark-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the top and bottom, complete on the sides; bearing writing on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are 7 lines running along the fibres, with only a few traces surviving of the first and last lines; side margins are minimal; folding lines are still visible. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Fragmentary letter to Eucles, Zenon’s colleague, from a shepherd, advising him that everything said by Hermolaus, the chief financial official (oikonomos) of the Memphite nome, about him is false.

Medium-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and damaged by insect-holes throughout; written on one side, the back being blank. On the front, there are 6 lines from the top of a column running along the fibres; of the sixth line, only a scant trace remains; upper and left margins are extant; no margin was left on the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Scope & Content:
Opening of the copy of a will drawn up in Memphis, with dating clause and physical description of the testator, a military settler (cleruch) whose name is lost, aged 65. To whom he bequeaths his plot of land remains unknown.The content of the smaller fragment is uncertain as little remains.

Extent:
Two papyrus fragments of varying size, dark-brown, with writing on one side along the fibres, the back being blank; mounted on cardboard in a glass frame. The left fragment preserves portions of 12 lines from the top of a column; upper and part of the left margins survive. The right fragment is broken off on all sides and bears portions of 7 lines.

Letter of Introduction (P.Lond. VII 2069, TM 1630)
Scope & Content:
Fragmentary letter to recommend Diodorus, the bearer of the message, to the recipient. The addressee may have been an acquaintance or colleague of Zenon, and for this reason the letter may have come to be among Zenon’s papers. The address is partly preserved on the back.

Extent:

Portion of a papyrus sheet, broken off on the sides, complete at the top and bottom; with some damage along the horizontal folds; written on both sides. On the front, there are portions of 5 lines lacking beginning and ends, running across the fibres. Upper and lower margins measure 20 and 45 mm respectively. The back bears one word written along the fibres the other way up in relation to the text on the front. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
