- Letter to Herminus from Apollos, a new recruit, concerning money matters. Apollos explains how he has spent his share of money for medical treatments, and asks that Herminus deliver his army bounty to Apollos’ mother and wife, whom he has sent to collect it.

- Papyrus sheet, pale brown, broken off to the left and with some surface damage; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. On the front, there is one column of 24 lines, with lines 1-22 lacking the beginnings and lines 23-24 written on the right-hand side of the sheet. Upper and lower margins survive and are minimal, and no space was left on the right. A sheet-join runs vertically along the right edge up to line 21. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
