Fragmentary contract for the cession of land located in the Hermopolite nome by Aurelius Joseph, son of Aphous; with subscriptions of Joseph written by the same person who wrote the body of the document, and of five witnesses. The document has been cancelled.

Mid-dark brown papyrus, long and narrow, broken off at the top and right, with minor damage along the horizontal folds; written on one side, the back being blank. The front bears 27 lines across the fibres, which have been crossed out; left and lower margins are minimal. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

The front bears 7 lines written across the fibres. Margins are extant and minimal, with the left being irregular as lines 2-7 are indented. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

The front bears 21 lines running along the fibres, with only traces of the first and last lines. Five vertical folds are visible. On the back, there is one line along the fibres, lacking the beginning. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Lease of a share of a house with appurtenances located in Hermopolis for an undetermined period starting on the day of the deed (Tybi 7), at a rent of 2800 talents per year. The lessee is Aurelius Ioannes son of Apion, and the lessor a woman whose name is damaged. With docket on the back.

Left fragment (A): Left-hand portion of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and right and lacking the upper margin too; with writing on both sides along the fibres. The back bears a one-line docket; on the front, there are the beginnings of 15 lines from the top of a column, with only the left margin surviving.

Right fragment (B): Fragment of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the top, bottom and left; with minor surface damage in places; written on one side along the fibres; portions of 12 lines survive, lacking the beginnings. The right margin remains.

On the front, there are 17 lines; of the first, only the feet of few letters remain; lines 1-12 lack the beginnings. Side margins are minimal; the lower margin is generous. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom at c. 10 mm from the right edge. The back bears 10 lines with tachygraphic signs. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.
